First set of stitches and Family Vacation

Well, we had our first Emergency on Thursday. Bryce had to go see a "plastic surgeon" to get 4-5 (???) stitches. NO, he wasn't fooling around. No, Asher didn't push him, NO he wasn't bouncing on the bed. He got his foot stuck in the couch and feel forward into a solid wooden footstool. I felt so bad for this lil' guy. I took him to the clinic and the Doctor said he would put in the stitches but since it was a facial wound he preferred the plastic surgeon. We waited about 45 minutes for him to arrive and then they strapped him down into what look liked a "body" straight jacket besides it was blue. He was shacking his head like a mad man. I would have traded spots any day. I couldn't believe they didn't even numb the area before for they stuck in that huge "fishing hook" of a needle. "the doctor said numbing the area wood be worse for Bryce since he would probably scratch or bite it when it was numb" Whatever!!! ??? You can't really tell by the pictures but he got two stitches on the bottom lip (top) and 2-3 stitches on the lower part of the bottom lip.

Monday - Wednesday we took a family vacation to the Dells. We had an excellent trip!!! We stayed at the Copa Cabana Resorts. The hotel resort itself received an "A" but the room was an "F". We slept on the bed from H E double hockey sticks. I have never slept on such a terrible, uncomfortable bed in my life. Besides that the trip and hotel ROCKED!!!

Every morning Bryce had to say HI to Max the bird.
